At East End Rowing we encourage rowers and potential rowers, at all skill levels, to join our club and take the opportunity to learn from our experienced coaches. Whether you are a true beginner, an experienced rower, or looking for a new sport, coaching and lessons are a great way to gain or re-gain your confidence quickly.

Any of our coaches are available to work out dates and times for individual, private lessons. Private lessons are $50 per hour.
Co Rentmeester, a finalist in the Men's double sculls at the 1960 Rome Olympic games, is a co-founder of East End Rowing and has a proven track record of training young rowers to succeed in the elite levels of the sport. "Co's Kids" have gone on to row for such programs as Cornell University, Temple University, Columbia University and Oklahoma State University.
Kate Hale is the daughter of EERI president Bill Hale. An accomplished rower throughout high school and college, Kate coaches rowers of all levels and spearheads EERI's summer Learn to Row program.
